For more than 40 years
...Monk Furniture, a family owned and managed business has produced high quality furniture for the middle and upper market sector of the furniture industry. In recent years Monk has specialised in manufacturing in North American Hardwoods such as Hard Maple, White Oak, Black Walnut, White Ash and Cherry, as well as Steamed Beech, a perennial European favourite. In addition to the specialist hardwood materials Monk works with a wide variety of veneers, melamine's and laminates.

Monk Furniture has striven continually to develop and enhance a manufacturing technique that embraces traditional heritage methods of production and construction with modern equipment, technologies and ideology creating hand finished products for a wide customer base including many "blue chip" organisations.

All of our hardwood furniture is made and finished on site at our Macclesfield factory creating a distinctive and highly regarded selling feature - "MADE IN BRITAIN".

Our ability to produce in small and medium scale batches for our own brand furniture ranges and bespoke anonymously manufactured products places Monk in a unique position within the industry. This allows us to work happily and confidently with many sectors of the furniture industry. The range of clients embraces specialist niche interior designers and multinational design groups through to Independent furniture retailers and the best known High Street Groups to meet their requirements for quality cabinet work for the Dining Room, Bedroom and Occasional pieces.

With regard to Contract Furniture Monk operates a complete design and make service including 3D computer generated visuals through to the final product. Each project is treated individually and completed with very close work with the client to supply the required product on time.
